Shasta is such a good little horse!
She is teaching the boys to be confident and comfortable around, and on, horses.
I'm proud of Rowan and Cid. They've come a long way from their first rides. We are all looking forward to a spring and summer filled with a lot more horse fun.
Looks like fun. Ask Opa to tell you about Shays carrot race when she was 5, hysterical.

ReplyDeleteIt's where the rider has to go to the end of the arena and the horse has to touch the carrot then you ride back. Shays in a trot/gallop and her hat falls right in front of her face. She just kept going 😊, luckily korky was a carrot hound. The hat finally flew off on the gallop back. Absolutely kid adorable... Actually I think she was 6, fall of 2005. I think André has a video.
